What does Web Manager Do
Web Manager is an optional tool which allows you to edit and change your web site pages right from your office or home, 24 hours a day - seven days a week. Web Manager permits editing in either graphical or text format. Once you've made your changes - you can simply copy the changes back to your web site. Web Manager also allows you to monitor your various directories - keeping track of when they were last updated and by whom. You can delete pages, add pages - create new pages and new directories to your web site. You can also give permission to other's within your organization to access the application --- with different levels of permissions. This powerful tool should be used with caution. Ensure that you have backed up your files before editing them - just in case you make a mistake. Tightweb does not backup modified files and should an original backup of a site be required - the account will be charged $55.

Why I can't see any of my graphics when I edit web pages?
The editing page only allows you to see editable html code in the graphic mode! If you wish to refer to the graphics --- click on the 'WEB' at the right hand side of the main web manager page. If you wish to point to a different graphic (have a different image show on the page) you can change to text code editing (click on the pencil icon at the top of the page). Caution when using text code: some of the text may appear out of order. Do not change location of lines in this view - but you can edit text and graphics. Use the graphic editing mode to verify that editing was successful before you save your work. You save the work by clicking on the floppy disk icon.

What do the controls on the web manager tool do?
If you are familar with Microsoft word, you should have no trouble working the editing tools in web manager. The differences are unique to the internet:
1. The paragraph icon is represented by inserting a "p" in the html script.
2. The BR is a forced line break.
3. The chain (and broken chain) icon represents hyper links on the web page. A close chain will set up a hyper link on the page - a broken chain will remove a hyper link.
4. The 'Z' adds a zone to your web page.
5. The pencil icon changes the view from graphic to text editing. Click on the pencil again and it changes back.
5. The magnifining glass enlarges the view
6. The floppy disk saves your changes to your web page.
