 Merger between MatrixAmerica and Tightweb Communications Announced MatrixAmerica, announced today a merger between itself and Tightweb Communications, one of America's Fastest Growing Web Design and Development Companies. MatrixAmerica brings to the relationship nearly 15 years of multi-media development. According to Carol Berger, MatrixAmerica's Director of Information, this experience, together with Tightweb's skills, promises to create a web service powerhouse which will provide enhanced client and customer services. According to Jeff Miller, Tightweb's Vice President and General Manager of the firm's Design Services, the merger should be complete early in 2008. "We're looking forward to offering even a greater variety of services to our clients", Miller said. MatrixAmerican brings to the table a fairly large quantity of media development skills together with a number of network facilities. Miller also announced that Tightweb's Project Development Director, Ron Geringer, will become the merged company's President and CEO. "We plan to retain our existing two offices in Omaha", Geringer said, "with no substantial changes in staffing or operations for at least the next six months." According to Geringer, new branding and web tools are being developed that will more appropriately reflect the skill sets of the newly merged firm. According to other company officials, MatrixAmerica and Tightweb Communications currently operate facilities in Ontario, New York State, Kansas, Nebraska and California. The two companies also operate facilities in the far east and europe. Additional acquisitions are continuing to be considered. |
According to Berger, MatrixAmerica will emphasize local representation in development web sites that will manage sales and marketing in up to twenty newly created marketing districts in the US and Canada. "We are looking forward to increased sales and local involvement which Mr. Geringer has pioneered.", Berger said. According to Berger, this new direction will offer great opportunities to skilled web professionals who may be eager to operate and manage their own marketing districts.
